DRESS CODE

It is recommended to wear proper shoes and shirt with sleeves during the beamline practice. Sandals or high-heeled shoes are not appropriate.

INTERNET ACCESS

Wireless Internet access is available at all area in SPring-8 site. Please make sure to bring necessary plug to connect your PC and other electronic products.

CAFETERIA

SPring-8 cafeteria offers a selection of food: Japanese, Western and Chinese food, noodles, curry, etc. Payment has to be made by a rechargeable prepaid card.

SHOP KIRARI

Shop Kirari is located in the cafeteria building and open from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays during user beamtime only.

ATM

There is no ATM machine in SPring-8 site.
The nearest ATM machines are located in Kouto Plaza near the “Shibafu-hiroba” (Lawn Park) bus stop (30 min walk from SPring-8 Campus). Therefore, It is recommended to withdraw/get enough cash at the airport upon your arrival.
